To those who need to hear it, you are valid. You are loved.
Sending you healing energy and thoughts. (IĀ received this lovely sentence from a friend, it stayed with me since).
Physical or verbalised wounds don’t always tell the whole story.
As a society we are still trying to figure out what to do when there is no physical evidence of pain and/or abuse.
Where does this leave somone who knows their true scars will never be seen, never be understood?
Not in the best place, but keep working on it. šā¤
A tip may be to start by removing yourself from people and environments that either cause you pain, or gaslights what you feel.
Everyone is different. So regardless of any professional or social resource that you draw from, know you are unique and deserve your own path to healing.
It won’t happen in a day. That’s okay. The fact you’re still here, trying your best is more than enough.
You are enough. You are loved, even when you can’t feel it.
Take care ~
